I am actively recruiting graduate students, Ph.D. or M.S., for Fall 2019. If you are interested in joining the lab, contact me directly prior to submitting an application to the department. In your email, please introduce yourself, describe how your research interests overlap with mine, and include a CV. Students will be supported through Graduate Teaching Assistantships, but eligible students will also be encouraged to apply for external funding. See more at DU Ecology and Evolution.
I do not currently have postdoc funding available, but I am happy to consider working with you to apply for funding opportunities.
There are lots of ways to get involved in undergraduate research in the lab through work study or for credit. I ask that students start in the lab as volunteers for one quarter to make sure the research is a good fit for each student. If you think you might be interested in working with insects, programming, or genomic methods please email me or drop by my office.
